Robin Hill Trail Dedication Nov 2024

Robin Hill Trail Dedication for Martha Ireland: Nov 9th, 2024 

The Peninsula Chapter of the Back Country Horseman of Washington has built and dedicated a new trail in Robin Hill Park to Martha Ireland. 

Marth Ireland is a bundle of energy--often walking her dog on the Robin Hill trails. She lives off Kitchen Dick Road near Robin Hill and was instrumental in getting park neighbors' contact and cooperation so we could access the property from that side for this project. She helped with planning the trail route (especially the section we are calling "Martha's Loop". She had horses for many years, and was a member of Peninsula Chapter, and rode for many years. She authored two western, mystery adventures and was a County Commissioner for a number of years. She has done much for the local equine community!

The PBCHW members were honored to be able to be able to implement the trail she had envisioned and finish it just one step ahead of the winter season.
