New Years Day Ride: Jan 1st, 2025 

What a nice day for a New Years Day ride out at Miller Peninsula State Park. Promoted by Judy Dupree to both the Olympic Peninsula Riders and Peninsula Chapter of Back Country Horsemen, there were 25 riders out for a sunny, but chilly day. As the horse trailers kept arriving, Tom Mix and Jim Hollatz directed parking, which was challenging with 15 rigs in that small area. But all were accommodated. A hardy potluck was laid out afterwards while hands and feet were warmed by two propane fire pits. It was a fine way to bring in the new year.
